On Sunday 24 March 2019, I took part in a community dance project called Simulcast. There were just over 280 volunteers from all walks for life. Some experienced dance professionals, and others, like me, who just wanted to take our private loungeroom dance routines into the public space.
The performance on the day at Birrarung Marr in Melbourne’s CBD was memorable as the six weeks of rehearsals came together for two performances.
